Madrid is Europe’s greenest capital, so it's only natural to discover the amazing parks and rivers while you're here! This three-hour tour takes you to the best of nature in and around Madrid.
We will begin by riding through Parque del Oeste (West Park), along the Manzanares River and into the “Casa de Campo” - Madrid’s vast public parkland and one of the world’s
largest open-air parks. This tour uses 100% of the park’s dedicated cycling paths, making it a great option for those uncertain of their biking ability. Our local, friendly guides will explain the history of the various monuments and sites so that you can gain a deeper appreciation for the landmarks that make Madrid iconic. From the city's origins as a royal hunting reserve to its more recent history as a front line offensive during the Spanish Civil War, there is plenty to discuss! We also include a stop at the resting place of a legendary Spanish painter, Goya, where you can see his impressive ceiling frescoes in the San
Antonio chapel.
This tour is perfect for children; we avoid the busy city center and the traffic, focusing solely on the parks and green spaces throughout Madrid. Our beautiful city is undergoing some renovations currently, which allows us to extend the tour to include the magnificent Plaza del Oriente by the Royal
Palace, as well as the grand Plaza de Espana. This is a tour not to be missed!
Thank you for letting us know your gender and height when checking out so that we can prepare your bike!

This tour provides a great overview of the city, however we do discourage guests from reserving immediately after a long-haul flight. Give yourself the afternoon and evening to adjust and avoid any cancellation issues by flight delays and plan on joining us during your second day in Madrid.
This won't be the Tour de France, but appropriate clothing for biking is recommended. We highly discourage wearing flip-flops. Madrid is not entirely flat, so there are some gentle up-hill climbs on the tour.
This tour will run rain or shine! Please dress appropriately. We do provide ponchos for rainy days. In the event of extremely bad weather, we will contact you to reschedule.
Yes! This is a perfect tour for children as we avoid the city center and busy areas.
We use comfortable, 9 gear city bikes. We also have pedal-assist e-bikes available for adults an additional €10. You can select upgrade to this option when you arrive for your tour.
Helmets are provided for all free of charge, but are only mandatory for teens 15 & 16 years old.
We will allow some time for you to view Goya's frescoes on the ceiling of the San Antonio la Florida chapel, and your guide will provide you with plenty of information to return to the sites that interest you to most following the tour.
The tour is about 3 hours long, and we will cover about 4-6 miles/6-10 kilometers.
It's not a good idea to plan this into your itinerary, as the guide will need to stay with the rest of the group. Thanks for choosing a different day to join us should you have scheduling conflicts. Alternatively, you are welcome to select the private tour option so that you can plan your tour according to your schedule.
