Join us to learn about, experience, and get up close and personal with the Brooklyn Bridge! This icon of New York City history and culture spans the East River, uniting perhaps the two most well-known boroughs of NYC. From its inception in the 1860's until today, it has been a beacon of hope and beauty for all.
This tour is about so much more than just crossing a bridge. We'll start our day in the City Hall district of Manhattan where a 15 minute incremental climb will take us to the foot of the bridge. Your guide will stop at various vantage points to talk about the history and symbolism of the bridge.
We'll then make our way across the famous cable-stayed suspension bridge, stopping throughout to point out its unique architecture, the amazing views of Manhattan, and to allow for plenty of photos. Upon arrival in Brooklyn, we will tour the famous historic houses of Brooklyn heights and learn about how and why this neighborhood has skyrocketed to fame. This is the perfect tour for breathtaking views of New York City and an introduction into Brooklyn and its history in just two hours.

We think so! There is a slight uphill section at the beginning of the tour, but kids who ride bikes regularly should be fine. We do ask that all children be able to ride their own bikes on this tour; our route unfortunately isn't great for buggies or tag-along tandems. We also ask that all guests under 18 be accompanied by an adult.
This is a relatively short tour, designed to help you better understand the icon that is the Brooklyn Bridge. We haven't allotted for a dedicated stop within our two hours together, but you are welcome to bring a drink and snacks along.
The whole tour is approximately two hours, but there will be plenty of stops and opportunities for photos. We will cover approximately 7 miles/11 kilometers.
Yes, we provide helmets free of charge and sanitize them before and after each use. We ask that all guests wear one.
Before crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, we will spend some time in the City Hall district, or the Financial district of Manhattan. This is a great opportunity to see this part of the city and lay the groundwork for our tour. From there, you will make your way towards the bridge, and then make several stops on the bridge to inspect the architecture and take in the views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Upon arrival in Brooklyn, you will have a chance to ride through the neighborhood where the historic houses stand.
Our tours run rain or shine! We encourage you to check the weather and dress appropriately, or feel free to reach out to us about rescheduling. We will do our best to accommodate as availability allows.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate this request and ask that all guests plan on completing the tour with us once started.
We provide the bike, helmet, basket or bike bag, and an illustrated map of the sites that we'll see so that you can go back later and visit them on your own. Plus, it makes for a great free souvenir! Gratuities are not included and at your discretion.
