MAJESTIC FORESHORE AND EAST PERTH BIKE TOUR
Majestic Foreshore and East Perth Bike Tour
TOUR DESCRIPTION

The incredible cycle paths that line the South Perth foreshore are the stars of this tour. We will enjoy these dedicated bike trails and no inclines as we see the city from afar, ride over the famous Matagarup bridge in East Perth, stop for an amazing photo opportunity of the Optus Stadium, and discover the wetlands and parklands of Perth. This three-hour tour is the best of both worlds; the highlights of the city of Perth plus the nature that lies just beyond its borders.

As we wind our way along the cycle paths near the Swan River, we will enjoy the amazing views offered by this vantage point. About mid-way through the tour, we'll stop for a break at Claisebrook Cove, a picturesque area and significant location for the local Noongar people. Your guide will provide historical insight into their way of life and speak about how this Aboriginal Australian culture has been preserved for centuries.

Perth is a big little city with so much to explore and a rich history that brings the sites to life. Your guide will provide insight through stories, history, anecdotes, and a local's insider knowledge that is priceless.

We will wrap up the tour by cycling along the city foreshore via the Bell Tower and Elizabeth Quay before arriving back in South Perth. You'll be just in time for lunch, and your guide is happy to recommend their favorite spots for a great bite.

Is this tour kid-friendly?

The smallest bikes we have available are perfect for anyone at least 5 ft/155cm tall. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to us in advance.

What kind of bikes will we be riding?

We use comfortable, city-style step-through-framed bikes, meaning it's easy to get on and off the bike and remain upright while riding, so as to enjoy the sites. The seats are adjustable for anyone who is at least 5 ft/155cm tall.

Are helmets required?

Yes, helmets are required by Australian law, and we provide them free of charge. They are sanitized before and after each use.

We provide the bike, helmet, knowledgable local guide, and about 3 hours of guided touring. Any food/drink purchased during the break are not included in the tour price, nor is water or rain gear. We recommend that guests bring a bit of cash along should they wish to purchase refreshments during the break.

What should I bring?

It can get very hot in Perth, so protection from the sun is a must. We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat/sunglasses, and dressing appropriately for the weather. We also recommend bringing a full bottle of water; you will have a basket on your bike to carry it along with small bags or other personal belongings.
