Our exploration of the hidden side of Prague starts in the city center at our easy-to-find office. We will get everyone equipped with a comfortable bike and start out towards the Vltava river where we'll visit the Malá Strana area. This neighborhood is famous for its beautiful Baroque architecture, quaint streets, and amazing views over the city.
Our first stop will be the WWII monument where we will explain the intricate history of what was once Czechoslovakia. We will then make our way to the beautiful but hidden Wallenstein Gardens followed by the John Lennon Wall and Kampa Park. All of these sites are brought to life thanks to our local guides.
After enjoying Kampa park we will head away from the city center, seeing Prague's famous Dancing House. We will then spend some time visiting the Cyril and Methodius church, famous for 2 Czechoslovakian resistance fighters who attempted to assassinate Reinhard Heydrich.
After visiting the church and the museum, we will continue cycling through Nové Mesto (newtown), lined with beautiful monuments, on the way to the Nusle Bridge. This bridges crosses a picturesque neighborhood, perfect for photo opportunities.
Our final stop will be at Vyšehrad Castle. This is a hidden fortress that many tourists miss. The Czechs like to keep this place a secret as they believe that it was the physical location of the first settlement of Prague. We will take the time to explore the sites inside the walls of the fortress, learning about the history of Prague throughout the centuries. For anyone looking for amazing views and the behind-the-scenes access to Prague, this tour is it!
