Join us for our Bordeaux Highlights Bike Tour and explore the capital of the French wine region! From the rolling hills to the chateaux to the old town, allow us to show you around our beautiful city. We will explore the origins and history of Bordeaux, visit its landmarks, and take it all in over the course of a leisurely 3 hour tour.
We'll begin at our centrally located bike shop, where your comfortable Dutch-style city bike awaits. Bordeaux has plenty of bike paths and cycle-friendly areas that we'll take advantage of as we explore the city. From the medieval ramparts of town to the contemporary, bustling streets; we'll see it all!
Bordeaux was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2008. Our city is the obvious choice for a week in the vineyards, and is often home to wine-lovers from around the world. The city itself has plenty to offer, such as the ancient Rue de Notre Dame, the Saint Croix church, and the Place de la Bourse. We will touch on the highlights, provide you with information about the history and modern culture, and equip you to better understand this beautiful region of France. We combine history, art, legend, symbolism, and architecture throughout the tour as we show you the most vibrant neighborhoods. We can't wait for you to join us!
