Discover Bucharest’s highlights on this relaxing bike ride. 70% of the most impressive attractions are located in the city center or nearby, and your guide will take you to the best and most important sites. This is the perfect way to explore this popular Eastern European destination.
We will begin our tour in the Old City center by visiting the oldest relics of Bucharest's birth and development: the Old Court Citadel, Manuc’s Inn, and Stravopoleos Church. After time to explore and take photos of these impressive sites, we will continue on to the most famous boulevard of Bucharest; Calea Victoriei. With its impressive architecture and grandiose buildings like Military Circle, Telephone Palace, Royal Palace, or Romanian Atheneum, this stretch is one not to be missed.
Continuing on, we will make our way to the relaxing Cismigiu Gardens where you will find Bucharest City Hall. This is home to some of the most important city decisions, and your guide will point out the changes in Bucharest over the years.
We will then pass into the 20th century and the communist era by visiting the grandiose Ceausescu’s Palace and Union Boulevard which was designed to be longer and wider than Champs Élysées. Revel in the history of Bucharest, the newness of the modern town, and the feel of communist Romania all in this two-hour tour.

Absolutely!
We use comfortable city-style bikes with either 6 or 21 gears.
No, but they are available free of charge.
We unfortunately won't have time to allow the group to enter the buildings that we see on our, but we'll equip you with plenty of information to return to the sites you enjoyed the most after the tour. Whenever there are opportunities to let the group explore the interior yard of the Manuc's Caravanserai, the Saint Anthony Monastery, the Patriarchal Monastery or other sites that we may see on this tour, we will certainly allow time to do so. We never know what private events may be happening at these places, so we cannot guarantee entry anywhere.
The tour is about two hours long and covers a distance of just over 5.5 miles/9 kilometers.
If you have other plans, please contact us in advance so that we can arrange for you to finish the tour early, and so that it doesn't disturb the rest of the group.
