Join us for a picturesque bike tour through charming Antwerp, and learn about the city's history and legends from our expert local guide.
We'll begin our day at our office, conveniently located next to Antwerp's central train station. From here, we'll cycle to the southern-most point of town, stopping at the Museum of Fine Arts along the way. This beautiful building is located in the middle of the trendy district known as ‘Zuid’. Your guide will fill you in on other things to do and see in this neighborhood should you wish to come back and visit on your own following the tour.
Next, we'll make our way to the newly developed area of town along the riverside. 'Nieuw Zuid' is a bustling urban landscape comprised of housing units, schools, activity centers, and community-focused social areas that is set to be completed in 2028. It's a fascinating corner of Antwerp for all those interested in urban design and architecture.
We will continue our ride towards the historic center along the Vrijdagmarkt and the unique Plantin-Moretusmuseum. From the Grote Markt, we'll ride north towards the Old Port which includes great views of both the MAS as well as the Port House. We'll then return to the train station, passing both Park Spoor Noord and the De Coninckplein on the way. Finally, we'll wrap up our tour with a great view of the train station and the Antwerp Zoo. It's the perfect half-day to get oriented with the city, learn about its history, and see the new and exciting parts of Antwerp!
