There is no better way to experience the fascinating city of Jerusalem! Kick off your day with a leisurely bike ride and a beautiful sunrise, led by your local guide.
We'll begin the tour at our centrally located shop in the First Station outdoor mall in Jerusalem. You can try out one of our great 7-gear light and comfortable city bikes as well as a helmet. Once everyone is comfortable on their bike, we'll start by heading north towards the Old City of Jerusalem along a bike path. We'll pass by the first neighborhoods to be built outside the Old City - Mishkenot Shaananim and Yemin Moshe. Your guide will explain the history and importance of each of the sites.
Soon after that we'll reach Jaffa Gate where we will have a stunning view of the Tower of David and the Old City Walls. We'll then have a chance to cycle into the Old City as it's still quiet and the day is just beginning. We'll visit the the Christian Quarter, the Amenien quarter, and finally reach Mount Zion. This historical hill is where King David is buried, where the Last Supper took place, and where the Dormition Abbey is located. It's a powerful place to visit made even more impactful by beginning your day here.
We have planned the perfect itinerary so as to reach the roof of King David's Tomb just in time to see a breathtaking sunrise over the Mount of Olives. We'll enjoy our time here, and your local guide will be pleased to take photos for you and your family/friends. We'll then start our day off like the locals; with some cookies and herbal tea. Finally, we'll make our way back to our shop at the First Station where we will be happy to give you recommendations for the rest of your stay in Jerusalem. We hope that you'll start your day with us!
