TOUR DESCRIPTION

This laid-back tour of LA perfectly embodies the vibe and lifestyle of this famous, sprawling metropolis. Kicking things off from the legendary Route 66 in West Hollywood, we will make our way into Beverly Hills to see the upscale neighborhoods of this elite residential district. We'll also explore some of LA’s most iconic architectural landmarks and celebrity homes.

Next, we will continue through the stunning West LA neighborhoods of Brentwood and Westwood, which will lead us to the beautiful beach oasis of Santa Monica, known for its being a welcome haven to all.

We'll take a break from our biking adventure here to enjoy lunch in colorful Venice Beach, home to LA's most instagrammed skate park. You will definitely see fitness fanatics strutting their stuff along Muscle Beach. After lunch, we will take advantage of the scenic walkways along the Venice Canals before visiting Marina del Rey, the world’s largest man-made boat harbor. Our full day biking experience wraps up with a trip through Culver City, the keystone of many historic movie studios.

Throughout the tour, your expert local guide will share insider knowledge to help you better understand and appreciate the hubbub of LA. You will leave the tour with plenty of amazing photos, anecdotes to share with your family and friends, and a new appreciation for Los Angeles!

What are your covid policies?

Under current CDC and California guidelines, guests are no longer required to wear a mask outdoors. You are welcome to bring and wear a mask if you prefer. For those who would like to be extra cautious during these times, you can upgrade any of our daily public tours to a private tour of LA; thanks for contacting us if you would prefer a private option. All of our guides and staff are fully vaccinated, and all bikes are cleaned between tours.

Where is the meeting point?

Our shop is located at 8500 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069. It is recommended to take a ride share such as Uber or Lyft to the meeting point, though there is limited parking available behind the shop.

What is your cancellation policy?

We’re happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour departure. Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply.

What is your weather policy?

We operate rain or shine (though it RARELY rains in LA).

Is this tour appropriate for children?

Yes, as long as they can ride a bike for the full duration of the tour on their own. It's recommended for ages 6 and older. We have 2 20" frame bikes, 2 24" frame bikes, and 1 single-wheeled tag-along tandem that attaches to an adult bike. Thanks for letting us know in the notes of your booking if you would prefer one of these smaller bikes.

What kind of bikes do you have?

Our standard bikes are high quality multi-speed hybrid city bikes. We also have pedal assist electric bikes for an additional $35/person. Please select this option when checking out if you would prefer to use an e-bike.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes helmets are required for all bike tours.

Do we go inside the museums and monuments?

We unfortunately will not have time to enter any sites on this tour, but we will take in beautiful views of the neighborhoods we ride through and the beaches. We will also have a chance to walk along some of the famous Venice Canals.

How long is the ride?

This tour is 6 hours long covering 32 miles (51km).

Can I leave the tour early?

No, it is unfortunately not possible to leave the tour early. If the length of the tour doesn't work for you, please inquire about private tour options.

Do you have electric bikes?

Yes! You can upgrade to an electric bike for an additional $35/person. There are some small hills on the tour route. Please select this option when checking out.

Is there a place to store bags and luggage during the tour?

Yes, you are welcome to store bags at our office while on tour.

Is water included or can I purchase some before the tour?

Water is available to purchase before the tour at our shop as well as when we stop while on tour. We recommend having at least one bottle of water per person during hot summer months.

Is the cost of food & drink included?

We do stop for lunch at a place that can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Cost of food and drink are not included.

Will there be a basket on my bike or a way to carry my bag?

There is a small bag on each bike to hold personal items; we recommend only bringing the essentials so that you can fully enjoy your tour.

Should I bring cash?

You'll need cash or a credit card for lunch.
