NEW ORLEANS BIKE TOUR
Discover the Big Easy in Style
TOUR DESCRIPTION

If it's your first time to The Big Easy or you're a regular here, our New Orleans Bike Tour is the perfect way to explore the city in a laid-back and fun way. We've combined all of the best landmarks and interesting facts into this 2-hour tour so that you can relax and enjoy the city.

New Orleans is about so much more than just Bourbon Street. This city is brimming with art, music, excellent food, multi-cultural communities, and a unique and often intimidating history that we'll break down for you in an easy-to-understand way. Our guides love their city and they want you to fall in love with it just a little bit more.

We will spend most of our time in the iconic French Quarter - a neighborhood known for its creole roots, cajun eateries, and nightly jazz sounds. This is also known as the 'Crown Jewel' of the city, and we'll explain why and take you to our favorite spots here.

Our guides are happy to provide recommendations for other things to see and do in New Orleans after the tour. This city deserves to be explored with the help of a local, and we would love to show you around!

Important Information
What are the covid restrictions?

We are committed to sanitizing all high-touch surfaces, wearing masks when applicable, and socially distancing. Your guide can give you more up-to-date information on tour regulations when you arrive. We are proud to keep you safe throughout the duration of your tour.

Where is the meeting point?

This tour begins and ends at Dr. Bob's Folk Art, 3027 Chartres St, New Orleans, LA 70117. Please arrive 15min before your scheduled departure time.

Is a helmet included?

Helmets are not required in New Orleans, but we will certainly provide them free of charge and encourage you to use it.

What's best to wear?

Please don't sacrifice style for comfort! Dress appropriately for a casual bike tour; you don't need to break out the lycra, but you're certainly welcome to do so. Be sure to check the forecast and adjust accordingly; it can get very, very hot in New Orleans, so we recommend bringing an extra water bottle along and wearing sunscreen.

Is there a water bottle included?

Yes! It gets hot in the Big Easy, so we're happy to include a small water bottle for each guest, but you are welcome to bring your own! There will be space on the bike for both.

What's the cancellation policy?

We're happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour. Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply.

Is this tour good for kids?

We ask that all riders over 100lbs (45kg) ride their own bike or ride one of our 2 wheeled tandems that hook onto the back of the adult bike. We also have a few different sized mountain bikes that are great for small kids. Finally, we have baby seats that attach to the back of the adult bike. Thanks for letting us know in the notes of your booking if you think you might want a tandem, a baby seat, or a smaller mountain bike. Please note that all of our bikes have hand brakes, and pedal brakes are unfortunately not available.

Which buildings will we go into?

This tour is meant to discover New Orleans, so we have not allotted time to enter any of the sites that we'll see on tour. We're happy to give you our favorite tips and tricks to go back and see the landmarks that interest you most following the tour.

What are the group sizes?

We guarantee that your tour will not have more than 8 guests per guide.

What time should I arrive for my tour?

We would love for you to arrive 15 minutes early so that we can get everyone fit for their bikes and ensure that the appropriate paperwork is filled out. We unfortunately cannot wait for latecomers or get them caught up to the tour after it departs, so it's best to arrive early. Plus, you'll have more time to get to know your guide during this time! We'll ask each rider to complete and sign a liability waiver form, and minors will need a parent or guardian to complete their paperwork.
